Another requested ice cream not in circulation anymore is the Good Humor – Chocolate Fudge Cake bar. It was a chocolate cake crumb (Kind of like the Chocolate Eclair ice cream) on the outside, with vanilla ice cream and a solid thick slice of chocolate bar as the center, all on an ice cream stick. Don’t ask me why they don’t manufacture them anymore, because quite frankly, I DON’T KNOW. However, they still do make the Chip Candy Crunch Center, which i swear is the Chocolate Fudge Cakes’ sister. It has a hard chocolate crisp outside, on the inside it is vanilla ice cream, and a solid thick slice of yummy chocolate bar for the center.
FYI – When my customers ask for the “thing in the middle”, i know exactly what ice cream they are asking for.

Two of the most requested though outdated ice cream bars that are not in circulation anymore are the Bullet and the Wonder Bar. The Bullet was a 7 1/2″ long bullet-shaped chocolate-covered banana and cherry sherbet bar on a stick. The Wonder Bar, was similar to the Bullet but just a little shorter in length. The Wonder Bar came out first and came in a sealed package. I know the owner of the molds/recipes for these ice cream bars and asked to him plenty of times to remake it, but the problem is securing a number of trucks to ship and warehouse space to store the ice cream once delivered. Just maybe one day? Maybe?
